The PROJECT MUSIC Summer Session is a free two-week day camp open to all students who participate in PROJECT MUSIC’s various school-year programs. In partnership with the Domus Kids, the 2019 PROJECT MUSIC Summer Session delves deeply into creative processes in music, through special projects in collective composition and blues improvisation. The Summer Session provides a safe and productive environment for PROJECT MUSIC students during two critical weeks at the end of summer, when many other childcare options have concluded their summer offerings. Furthermore, the Summer Session supports musical excellence with close mentorship by professional educators, and strengthens the Stamford community through a shared creative process that transcends socioeconomic barriers.
