From Classroom to Concert Hall: The PM Collective’s Launch & Inaugural Performance!

Project Music is proud to announce the successful inauguration of the Project Music Collective [PM Collective], our new professional performing ensemble. This ensemble, composed of our esteemed teaching artists, made its debut with a spectacular concert on January 25th at the King School, marking a significant milestone in our organization.

The PM Collective, a genre-agnostic group with expertise ranging from classical to jazz, showcased their exceptional talents at their first concert, held specifically for our students, families, and in partnership with Music in the Woods. The ensemble's performance was a masterful display of musical versatility, seamlessly blending intricate classical compositions with the vibrant, soulful rhythms of jazz. The concert not only entertained but also inspired our students, demonstrating the heights they can reach as musicians.

This initiative reinforces our belief in the importance of students seeing their instructors not just as educators, but as practicing, accomplished artists. The success of the PM Collective's first concert has set a high standard for future performances, fostering a richer, more connected learning environment.

The PM Collective has a series of performances planned for the year, each promising to be a unique and enriching experience, reflecting the diverse backgrounds and skills of our artists. From intimate chamber music to lively jazz ensembles, the PM Collective is dedicated to captivating and elevating the musical spirit of our community.

We invite everyone to join us in celebrating this new chapter at Project Music. Keep an eye out for announcements on upcoming events and performances featuring the PM Collective.
