PROJECT MUSIC Expands Impact: Prioritizing Mental Health in Youth Education

Stamford, CT – PROJECT MUSIC, an organization dedicated to providing transformative music education and support to young people, is proud to announce its official partnership with the Youth Mental Health Alliance in Stamford. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in the ongoing commitment to fostering the well-being of youth in the community.

As a member of the Youth Mental Health Alliance, PROJECT MUSIC will engage in a comprehensive training program designed to enhance its ability to support and prioritize mental health in its youth programming. Through this partnership, PROJECT MUSIC aims to provide a more holistic, well-rounded experience for the young people it serves by integrating mental health awareness and resources into its intensive music education offerings.

The training will equip PROJECT MUSIC's leadership team with the tools and knowledge necessary to better recognize and address the mental health needs of participants, ensuring that every young person in the program receives the support they need to thrive both creatively and emotionally. This alignment with the Youth Mental Health Alliance will strengthen PROJECT MUSIC's impact, providing youth with not only a creative outlet but also the emotional and psychological tools they need to navigate life's challenges.

PROJECT MUSIC’s commitment to the "whole child" philosophy – focusing on the artistic, emotional, and social well-being of its participants – is an essential part of this new collaboration. By joining forces with the Youth Mental Health Alliance, PROJECT MUSIC demonstrates its ongoing dedication to nurturing the next generation of young people, empowering them to succeed through a balanced and integrated approach to education and mental health support.

"We are thrilled to partner with the Youth Mental Health Alliance and participate in this vital training," said Gabrielle Molina, Executive Director of PROJECT MUSIC. "By joining this important initiative, we are further reinforcing our commitment to supporting the mental health and well-being of our young musicians. It is more than just teaching music; it’s about creating a supportive environment where every child can grow, develop, and find their voice—both musically and personally."

PROJECT MUSIC has long been a trusted resource for young people seeking to explore their musical talents in a nurturing, inclusive environment. This new partnership will deepen that impact, ensuring that each participant receives the tools to succeed in all aspects of their life.
