PROJECT MUSIC Brings the Spirit of the Season to the Community in Stamford

This holiday season, PROJECT MUSIC spread cheer throughout Stamford with a series of performances that celebrated the joy and connection that music inspires. From retirement communities to corporate gatherings and festive family events, each concert brought its unique warmth to the season.

The first performance in this holiday series took place at Edgehill Retirement Center, where our advanced students and the Project Music Collective captivated the audience with a beautiful repertoire of holiday classics. Residents, joined by founding members of PROJECT MUSIC, Mr. and Mrs. Lowenthal, shared an evening of music and community. The concert was highly attended, highlighting the enduring ability of music to bring people together.

For the third consecutive year, students and faculty returned to Stamford Towers to perform at CBRE’s annual holiday party. Their lively renditions of seasonal favorites created a festive atmosphere that resonated with attendees. The evening concluded with a celebratory dinner, underscoring the camaraderie that defines the PROJECT MUSIC community.

PROJECT MUSIC’s holiday series concluded with a performance at Building One Community’s Holiday Toy Distribution Party. Families gathered to enjoy the sounds of live music as children received toys and participated in arts and crafts. The event embodied the season’s spirit of generosity and togetherness, leaving a lasting impact on everyone involved.

Through these performances, PROJECT MUSIC demonstrated the transformative power of music to connect, uplift, and inspire. We extend our deepest gratitude to our students, faculty, and partners who made these events possible, and to the Stamford community for welcoming us so warmly.
