Celebrating Success: Project Music Students Selected for Ravinia's Seminario Orchestras for All
We are thrilled to announce that flutists Emily Iniguez and Ailyn Martinez-Campos, alongside percussionist Jorge Sena, have been selected to participate in Ravinia’s prestigious Seminario Orchestras for All. Ravinia, located in Highland Park, Illinois, stands as one of the oldest and most esteemed outdoor music festivals in the United States. Renowned for its summer residency by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Ravinia hosts a diverse array of concerts spanning classical to contemporary genres, showcasing world-class musicians.
Carmen Delgado, Emily and Ailyn’s flute instructor from Project Music, expresses her pride: "I am filled with pride seeing how Ailyn and Emily are building their path in music, growing both musically and personally. Living this experience with Ravinia, I am certain it will motivate them and be something they will always carry with them."
Gabrielle, Executive Director of Project Music, adds, “We are thrilled to have our students invited to participate in Ravinia’s Seminario Orchestras for All. Our students will be among some of the best and brightest rising musicians from across the US as well as international partners like El Sistema Greece and the Dream Orchestra in Sweden. This is the first year that Project Music students will be representing, and we couldn’t be more excited for this opportunity!”
This opportunity underscores Project Music’s commitment to nurturing young musicians, providing them with a platform to flourish artistically and personally. Stay tuned as Emily, Ailyn, and Jorge embark on this enriching musical journey at Ravinia’s Seminario Orchestras for All this summer.
