Ninth Annual El Sistema Residency with Project Music: April 6-7, 2024 at King School
In an exciting and transformative partnership, Project Music proudly collaborates with King School to host the annual El Sistema Residency. This groundbreaking initiative prioritizes the integration of talented musicians from Project Music and King’s Middle and Upper Schools, fostering meaningful connections with students from diverse El Sistema USA programs, including our own Project Music participants. This collaboration places special emphasis on the students of Project Music, aiming to create a dynamic and inclusive environment for collective musical exploration.
Project Music Partners with Columbia University: A Data-Driven Collaboration
Columbia University's Teachers College for their Strategic Data Analysis course. This collaboration offers an exciting opportunity for us to delve into our patron database with the expertise of students from the M.A. Arts Administration program. Through hands-on analysis, we aim to uncover valuable insights that will benefit both our organization and the students' learning experience.
From Project Music to Professional Stage: Edwin's Journey
Garrett, Edwin's proud mentor, expressed, "I am super proud of the growth and professionalism I see in Edwin's playing. I have been teaching since 4th grade, and to now see him playing in a professional band and being paid for it, is awesome."
