Carmen Delgado, PM’s Flute Teaching Artist, Selected for Prestigious Eastman Leadership Bootcamp

PROJECT MUSIC is proud to announce that Carmen Delgado, flute teaching artist and marketing specialist, has been selected to participate in the prestigious Leadership Bootcamp at the Eastman School of Music. Delgado has received a full-tuition scholarship for this intensive professional development program, made possible through PROJECT MUSIC's affiliation with El Sistema USA.

About the Leadership Bootcamp

The Eastman Leadership Bootcamp is an intensive week-long series of online interactive workshops and case studies designed for advancing professionals in the arts sector. The program focuses on developing critical leadership skills needed to create more equitable music ecosystems, strengthen community connections, and build sustainable arts organizations.

What distinguishes this program is its ongoing support structure. Following the initial bootcamp, participants receive continued access to both group and individual mentorship sessions with Eastman faculty, ensuring sustained professional growth and personalized guidance.

Professional Development Impact

"We're incredibly proud of Carmen," says Gabrielle Molina, Executive Director of PROJECT MUSIC, who provided a letter of recommendation supporting Delgado's application. "Her commitment to both artistic excellence and developing community through music embodies everything our organization stands for. This opportunity will not only enhance her professional toolkit but will bring valuable perspectives back to our entire team."

Carmen will join a diverse cohort of aspiring arts administrators, educators, and musicians from across the United States, creating a valuable professional network. The skills she develops—from strategic planning and community engagement to financial sustainability and equity-centered programming—will directly benefit PROJECT MUSIC's ongoing mission to transform lives through music education.

Congratulations, Carmen!
