Norwalk Symphony Welcomes PROJECT MUSIC's Gabrielle Molina for Educational Concert Series

The Norwalk Symphony Orchestra recently welcomed PROJECT MUSIC's Executive Director Gabrielle Molina to perform as a clarinetist in a special educational concert series at local elementary schools. The collaborative performances, which featured Molina alongside other Norwalk Symphony musicians in a quintet formation, successfully engaged more than 500 students across two Norwalk schools, introducing young audiences to classical instruments and orchestral music.

The educational concerts introduced young audiences to the clarinet and other quintet instruments through interactive demonstrations and performances. The first concert was highlighted in a special feature on Channel 12, showcasing the positive impact of this musical outreach initiative. See the coverage here.

"These collaborative concerts represent just one facet of our strengthening partnership with the Norwalk Symphony," said Gabrielle Molina, Executive Director of PROJECT MUSIC. "I’m grateful for the opportunity to make music alongside talented musicians while introducing hundreds of Norwalk students to the joy of music and learning an instrument."

Building on this momentum, the organizations have announced their next joint venture—String Fest—scheduled for May 10. This day-long celebration of music will bring together PROJECT MUSIC faculty and Norwalk Symphony musicians, with students from King School and INTEMPO invited to participate in the musical activities. Mark your calendars! We hope to see you there!
